New Design of iR8024 can install 2 x M.2 SATA SSD, backup and protect the data and there is no need to worry about the entire system failure due to a single hard drive failure under the RAID 1 mode. 
 
The iR8024 supports the fault tolerant mode of hot-swappable M.2 SATA SSDs under RAID 1 status. It built-in LCD & LED display functions that can monitor and display the hard disk status. The iR8024 supports 1 x 5.25” optical disc drive size, this internal storage module can perfectly match servers, industrial computers, and workstations.
 
The iR8024 can have both M.2 SATA SSD at the same time, and provide RAID 0 and RAID 1 function. Using RAID 0 integration function can improve data read and write performance, or using RAID 1 mirroring function can prevent system downtime caused by a single hard drive failure.

RAID 1 mode is the most secure, and it is the most suitable storage mode for areas that require the high data security.
 
RAID 0 mode demands transmission speed, that can speed up data access speed, but there is no security at all.
